Are you feeling lonely too?

Sharing my reflection post watching this video on loneliness which left me shattered and in deep thoughts.

Am I not really lucky to be blessed with my loving parents, my caring siblings, and my trustworthy friends and family? These people add a lot of happiness and completeness to my life every single day and every single moment. Yet, I feel as though I am caged, or maybe why are relationships even important? Yaa, the privileged ones always take their privileges for granted. Isn't it?

The ones who get to study in the school and college of their choices never considered studies to be important.
The ones blessed with loving and caring parents are mostly found complaining that their parents are way too much, always back and behind them - eat well, sleep on time, take rest, etc
The ones blessed to find the love of their life are often found complaining about the few bad things in their partners like obsession, extra caring, too possessive, doesn't do this and that, etc.
On the other hand, the unprivileged ones who never get to study, ones who lost their parents, one devoid of family and friends to fall back on, and many more...always crave for these.

There's so much disbalance between the haves and have nots and wants of people.

The root cause of this is 'dissatisfaction' maybe. We always run behind what we don't have and never concentrate our energies on what all we have. We never pay attention to our privileges which are available to us for free like water, house, electricity, people, family, love, care,..we hardly have time to appreciate these and reflect upon their importance in our lives. We are always running behind something or someone who is not part of our life and when one day we get what we wanted, we will forget that and move on to something or someone else! This is a never-ending cycle of wants and accomplishments and then being forgetful or ignorant!

Is it not important that we all take a pause to reflect upon what we have, what are our blessings, what are our privileges and self-reflect as to how can we appreciate those for ourselves, how can we share our with others and how can we make the lives of people around more blissful?

While watching this video I got goosebumps when I kept myself in the shoes of a lonely person. At some point it the other, most of us have been there. It's just that we don't realize it if we don't pay much attention to it. When we have options to leave and move on, because staying is tough, it requires efforts... Most of us, most of the time choose to ignore and move on. It's just that at one particular time when we have moved on and on and on, chasing one after the other, without caring much... At some point we all will end up being the lonely beings looking for people to talk to, to care for... But all we will be left with would be.. Empty hands because time waits for none.
