Looking at black drain like Yamuna , it never occured to us that we will ever take a dip in it!To our surprise, we never thought of the river beyond Delhi, Agra where the water has become so toxic ! The credit goes to Mr Vimlendu , founder of Swechha who not only made us think, but also took us on the journey of Yamuna from Yamunotri to the plains! Since it was monsoon the river was gushing with water from - the seasonal streams, waterfalls, all over the mountains and thus we experienced the river in full bliss when the nature was blooming with greens and water bodies all across. But we were told that it is not the same in winters and summers when there is enough water to meet everyone's need but not everyone's greed. The river almost dies as it enters the plains where all its water is harnessed through multiple giant barrages (add name kd dams ) and canals and there is often an inter state tussle which happens as to what part of Yamuna belongs to whom! पत्थर का ज़वाब पत्थर से देना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं।  प्रेम के बदले प्रेम लुटाना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं । लाड़ पर लाड़ लगाना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं । कोई प्रेम से रहे, उसपर प्रेम लुटाना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं । कोई सहजता से समझे, उसे समझाना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं । खुशी के माहौल में गलतियां माफ़ करना या खुद की गलतियां ढूंढ पाना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं । जब प्रसन्नचित  हो हृदय, दुख को सुख कहकर मुस्कुरा देना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं। जब 100 काम सही हो, तो एक गलत काम पर खुदको ना कोसना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं । पर  पर  पर  जब कोई बात बिगड़ जाए, जब कोई मुश्किल आ जाए, जब दिल किसी भी कारण टूट जाए, या यू ही तन्हा हो जाए, जब कहीं चोट लग जाए, 100 में से 99 काम बिगड़ जाए , जब किसी से मन रूठ जाए, जब दिमाग साथ न दे, तब  तब  तब भी जो मुस्कुरा के कह दे, शुक्रिया, तुमने दिया साथ हमारा, तुम देना यूंही साथ हमारा, रहना हमें संभाले इसी तरह । दिल जब हमेशा मुस्कुराये, दिमाग जब दूसरे से पहले खुदकी खता समझ जाए, लड़ाई से पहले समझाइश हो जाए, गुस्से की जगह दिल प्रेम से भर जाए, आंसू की जगह चेहरे पर मुस्कान छा जाए, तो  कहना, हम देंगे तुम्हारा साथ सदा। तुम द...

Whenever you look back and think about your life journey, there is one thing to which you are visibly or invisibly immensely grateful, is your ability to trust. There is a lot of reading and discussion about the distrust factor which is growing day by day in the society we live in, or we are planning to be with, but what is crucial is to understand how the factor of trust plays a role in our being-ness. By being a human we all are capable of trusting “strangers” innately; right from the lady who gives birth to a child but the child doesn’t know anything about her, to die in someone’s hand with the hope of getting buried appropriately. You know what- in this world, at some, or the other point of life, we act like the person we come across and do the same shit with others. Not with the same person, but with others. इतने ढेर सवाल मन में, इतनी ढेर कार्यों की लड़ी लगी पड़ी है,  पूरा दिन कार्य करते हुए भी केवल इसलिए चैन नहीं, की कही कार्य करने में कोई कमी तो नहीं?  अरे चाँद पर पहुंचना है, अभी रुकना सही नहीं। कहते तो सबसे हैं चुना यह कार्य क्योंकि इसमें ही सबसे अधिक संतुष्टि है,  हमारे सपनों की पुष्टि है। रात्रि में चैन से सोने देने की शक्ति है पर कही कार्य करते करते, जब कभी ख्याल आ जाता है ये कि क्या जितना कार्य कर रहे हैं, वो पर्याप्त है कुछ बदलाव लाने के लिए? क्या परिवर्तन हेतु हम सही राह पर हैं? क्या हम प्रकृति की सेवा हेतु पूर्णतया समर्पित हैं? प्रकृति में, जीवन में, संतुलन लाने के लिए हम क्या सही मायनों में अपना योगदान दे रहे हैं? बस इन्ही सभी सवालों के चलते, पूरे दिन किए गए कार्य से मिली प्रसन्नता रात्रि में और 2 पल के विश्राम के समय में हृदय में उठे इन सवालों से शीन हो जाया करती है। फिर हम असमंजस में पड़ जाया करते हैं और खोजते हैं उन शांत हवाओं को, उन बाहों को जो हमारे हृदय में उठी इस अस्थिरता को थोड़ी स्थिरता प्रदान कर सके और सोचते हैं की क्या ज़रूरी है कुछ परिवर्तन लाने के लिए ...

PART 1: Intense heat, Heated stones, Super hot sand, It feels like we are standing inside the furnace, Here in my field area... Still, still These 100-125 people who are working constantly; Who show no signs of either anguish for extreme weather conditions or distress (And smiles and laughter instead.) I wonder, are these even humans? They are super humans, at least for me! They are the ones who work like machines, Oh sorry, not at all. Because they have emotions, they are full of compassion, For one and all. They make sure to ask me all times, Whether I had my food, I am doing good or not. They keep worrying for me, They never forget to take care of me and the team in the middle of all their work. How humble these people are! At the end of the day, they came and thanked me that they felt so good that I was there all day, Standing with them in the sun. But you see the difference, I was just 'STANDING AND OBSERVING' I hardly lifted a single stone, Because it’s not my cup...
