TRUST-- An Indispensable Quality to Survive

Whenever you look back and think about your life journey, there is one thing to which you are visibly or invisibly immensely grateful, is your ability to trust. There is a lot of reading and discussion about the distrust factor which is growing day by day in the society we live in, or we are planning to be with, but what is crucial is to understand how the factor of trust plays a role in our being-ness. By being a human we all are capable of trusting “strangers” innately; right from the lady who gives birth to a child but the child doesn’t know anything about her, to die in someone’s hand with the hope of getting buried appropriately.

You know what- in this world, at some, or the other point of life, we act like the person we come across and do the same shit with others. Not with the same person, but with others. Everyone in the universe is ‘You’  and ‘Me’, just the roles keep changing with time. Even we are wrong at times, it’s just that we don't realise at that time. Thus we need to trust the spirit of varied opinions and individuals. Simply, judging anyone to be right or wrong is simply an illusion which anyways will change with time. It is all just a matter of time, situation and the circumstances. We need to be empathetic enough in order to fully understand and fully trust the relationships we are involved in.

Trust has no levels. It can’t be graded into a lesser trust or comparatively greater trust levels. Trust is something which is either 0% or 100%. If we trust someone, we trust them blindly for what they say and do, and if we have any kind of doubts within ourselves, there is nothing like trust inside our hearts, and thus we need to work on it a bit more.

Moreover, in our opinion, if we trust and believe in ourselves, only then we can develop the tendency to trust others. So it's really important that we trust our instincts, our gut feeling, have faith in our potentials, trust the process, trust the present moment...and automatically we will be able to develop trust in others. The basic step is looking at things by removing our lenses and seeing the things and people without putting the various labels of good, bad, honest, caring, careless, loving, irritating etc. This will enable us to not judge straight away and rather feel and experience the essence of it all. This will strengthen our ability to see and live and not just overlook the real part.

When everything in and around us starts seeming blur, there comes the opportunity to look within because there is a firm belief about trusting the self-instinct first. As mentioned in the above para that the one who can’t trust one's self cannot hold it with others too. Trust gives the power to be vulnerable and courageous at the same time as it empowers the one to be transparent and to be loyal towards the self and nature around. When one fall in love with the taste which lies in the power of trust, her internal being encounters the blossom of immense joy and satisfaction to be in a space where everything can be trusted rather than traded in the terms of the so-called capitalist world. The new world theories have sowed seeds of competition and distrust not by brainwashing people but by making them see which is not even possible to think of in this real world. The mechanisms which claim to be capable of making you smarter and stronger by each passing day are nothing but illusions because through such tools the structure is making you alien to your own self by increasing the distance between your external and internal being. Trust is the factor which can bridge the gap between these two by just being in existence and one can easily leverage the power of being able to trust everything around. So as to say the world is too small to take a round of it, but the being-ness of an entity is too large to be kept in doubt for how it lives and works for its own sustenance. Who knows when the journey will come to an end and that’s why we all can do one thing to live more joyfully is to trust everything around but withholding the intentions of seeking authenticity in heart and to be compassionate for others as it is a bonus which comes along with trusting others. One last thing which we can ask to our own self is, how much trust we have on our ability to surrender and trust the world around!
